Sketchbooks are an important tool for artists to have on hand. They can be used for sketching out ideas, practicing new skills, or for just relaxing and drawing!

We will combine papier maché paste and acrylic paint to cover our sketchbook covers. With artist paper that is 11x17 , one color will be painted on lightly and once dry, another color will go on top. Before it dries, use a scraper to create fun designs in the top coat of paint...the color underneath will be revealed!

Once dry, the cover can be attached to the sketchbook pages with a stapler or by sewing!
