We are going to use clay to create a home.

Materials we need:

• Clay

• Surface area to work on clay

• Water / Slip

• Rolling pins

• Clay cutting tools

We will need to create slabs of clay that will be cut to create the walls, floor, and roof of your home. Once the structure is built, you can add details to give it more character! Don't forget to include cut-out windows so that a light can be placed inside!

To finish clay, we can use glaze and then fire the clay again OR we can use acrylic paint or other painting methods. A fun way to paint is to use crayons to color the clay bowl, watercolor on top, and to finish it with Mod Podge or glue.
