I tried my best to hate Paris, as I touched down on a cold December day. Perhaps it was the crisp air, the Christmas lights and decor, or the aroma of freshly baked baguettes that began to win me over. My expectations of unfriendly Parisians firmly intact, I began to explore and realized my preconceived notions of Paris were misguided. Dare I say I was falling in love with the City of Love?
Old world architecture infused with new world charm, Paris has heart, served on a freshly baked croissant. From The Louvre to Disney Paris (yeah I know what you are thinking) Paris has a lot to offer tourists. My five day trip, a week before Christmas, with a daunting itinerary was ambitious and I would not have it any other way.

My trip to France was cold, rainy, and foggy, which led to this interesting shot of the Eiffel Tower in the distance with the antenna engulfed in clouds. The lighting of the street was interesting as it glistened after a round of showers.
While rain and cold may have kept many local artists off the streets we finally did locate meet a local artist.
Artists and merchants set up in green booths along the road adjacent to the Seine River.
