Huya Has Partnered Up With Relog Media
Chinese live-streaming platform Huya has announced its partnership deal with Relog Media, a production firm from Serbia. The Chinese platform realized this deal for the upcoming HomeSweetHome CS:GO series. As cited in the agreement, Huya will now have all the rights for exclusive regional streaming, broadcasting, VOD, and distribution rights in China for this event.
Since HomeSweetHome CSGO will be having games for the entire year, Huya expects to cover over 3,000 hours of broadcast content.
The Chinese platform has released the following statement:
“We are incredibly excited to welcome the Home Sweet Home brand to our platform. Our FPS fans will now have high-quality CS:GO content throughout the year. Our platform will have the most engaging ways to view and experience every plant, clutch, and ace.”
Data platform GRID Esports has brokered the deal between the two entities. In addition, GRID Esports has also played a significant role in ‘delivering multiple headline sponsors and broadcasters’ for Relog’s HSH events.
Petar Marković, the COO of Relog Media, added:
“Home Sweet Home was born out of a need for around the clock, high-octane CSGO action during a time in which everyone was asked to stay indoors. As we expand the brand to a fully global presence we could not ask for a better partner than Huya.”
Huya was a part of the Esports industry in past, and this is not new for them. The Chinese platform has broadcasted a variety of competitive gaming events in past.
