Class overview

This ESOL program was created as a way to reach out into the community, powered by our love of Jesus Christ, to provide a practical need. The lessons are designed to demonstrate that love and teach learners conversational English and how to perform basic life skills in English. Additionally, the lessons provide an opportunity for everyone to meet, mingle, and make new friends.

The ESOL Classes are offered by Williams Temple Church of God in Christ (COGIC) Family Ministries with the support of our pastor, Superintendent Kenyarda Feathers, Sr. and under the leadership and guidance of Evangelist Missionary Dr. Sally K. Williams who is the coordinator for the church's Urban Initiative and Education programs.

The classes we teach here are designed to help English language learners communicate better in English, develop survival skills, and build relationships. The weekly class schedule is as follows:

Tuesdays from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Thursdays from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

*All times are US Eastern.

All classes are for intermediate and advanced learners. At present time, we do not have classes for beginners.
