EUROPEAN SCHOOL OF
DIFFERENTIAL GEOMETRY
L'Aquila
June 22-July 03, 2026
June 22-July 03, 2026
This is the second edition of the European School in Differential Geometry held in 2024 in Granada (link).
The ESDG targets young researchers, Master’s and Ph.D. students in Differential Geometry, fostering collaboration among European research groups. This project aims to create a high-quality doctorate school with European and international participation, aiming to be a memorable event with wide-reaching benefits. The ESDG will attract a global audience, requiring commitment from multiple European countries for long-term success, aspiring to become a cornerstone event in European Mathematics.
Plenary talks will be delivered by distinguished expert leaders in the field and serve as a focal point for the event. Plenary talks aim to provide attendees with valuable insights, provoke thought, and set the tone for the school by covering important topics, sharing groundbreaking research, or offering a unique perspective on the subject matter.
Mini-courses offer focused, in-depth training in specific subjects. They are perfect for students looking to acquire specialized skills, gain expertise in a niche, or explore a specific aspect of a broader field. Our programs provide a structured curriculum, allowing participants to dive deep into the subject with guidance from internationally recognized experts.
A poster session is a dynamic showcase of research and ideas through visual displays. Young researchers present their work on posters, offering concise summaries of their findings, theories, and projects. Attendees engage in discussions, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange in a visually stimulating environment.
Some spaces have been reserved to promote discussion and collaborations between participants and/or local researchers. These will foster learning, creativity, and camaraderie among participants.
Highly accomplished international mathematicians will deliver Plenary Talks and Mini-Courses on the latest topics of interest in the field of Differential Geometry.
