Escambia Amateur Astronomers Association

The EAAA is a member society of the Astronomical League.

The Astronomical League's objective is to promote the science of astronomy

• by fostering astronomical education,

• by providing incentives for astronomical observation and research,

• by assisting communication among amateur astronomical societies.

We host monthly stargazes at multiple sites around town.

We assist community schools, scouting groups, and other organizations in conducting their own star parties.

We hold monthly meetings where we discuss current events in astronomy, share astrophotography photos, and hear presentations about various astronomy related topics.
