Destiny App Studio ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Eritrean Keyboard mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App.
1. No Collection of Sensitive Input (Keystrokes)
The App is an Input Method Editor (IME). We understand the sensitivity of the data you type.
Keystrokes & Typing Data: We DO NOT collect, store, or transmit any data you type, including but not limited to passwords, credit card numbers, personal messages, or contact details.
System Warning: When you enable any third-party keyboard on Android, you will see a standard system warning stating that the keyboard "may be able to collect all the text you type." This is a default Android notification. We assure you that our App does not utilize this capability.
2. Permissions and Data Usage
Our App requests specific permissions to provide features. Here is how they are used:
Vibrate (android.permission.VIBRATE): Used solely to provide haptic feedback when a key is pressed.
Camera (android.permission.CAMERA): Used exclusively for the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) Scanner feature. The camera is only active when you explicitly open the OCR tool to convert printed text into digital text.
Images/Storage: Images captured for OCR are processed locally on your device or via Google ML Kit. We do not upload your images to any private servers or share them with third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
To provide certain features (like OCR and Ads), we use third-party SDKs. These services may collect technical information (such as IP addresses or Device IDs) governed by their own privacy policies:
Google Play Services: Used for app functionality.

4. Data Retention and Sharing
Personal Data: Since we do not collect personal data (names, emails, addresses), we have no data to share with third parties.
Data Disclosure: We will only disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our users.
5. Security
The security of your data is important to us. Because our App processes your typing and camera data locally on your device, your sensitive information remains under your control.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our App does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent and discover that your child has provided personal information to a third-party service within our App, please contact us.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
