This is a pretty simple pattern, but not recommended for a beginner. I used Bernat Blanket yarn, but you can use whatever yarn you would like.
Stitches used-
Single crochet (sc)
Increase (inc)
Decrease (dec)
In white/ primary color-
Head-
1- 6sc in magic ring (6)
2- *inc* around (12)
3-*sc,inc* around (18)
4-*sc 2, inc* around (24)
5-8- sc around (24)
9- *sc 2, dec* around (18)
10- *sc, dec* around (12)
Add eyes in between row 6 +7 with 7 stitches in between and stuff
11- dec around (6)
Finish off
Body-
1- 4sc in magic ring (4)
2- *sc, inc* around (6)
3-*sc 2, inc* around (8)
4- *sc 3, inc* around (10)
5- sc around (10)
6- *sc 4, inc* around (12)
7-*sc 3, inc* around (15)
8- *sc 2, inc (sc 3, inc the rest)* (19)
9-14- sc around (19)
15- *sc, dec* around
16- *sc, dec* around
Finish off and leave a tail for sewing
Legs (Make 4)-
1- 4 sc in a magic ring (4)
2-inc around (8)
3-4- sc around (8)
In dark pink/ secondary color
Head Frills (Make 6)-
1-6 sc in a magic ring (6)
2-5- sc around (6)
Tail frills-
Start on row 4 of the tail/body and slip stitch. Treble crochet in the next stitch (directly below in row 3), then slip stitch in the same stitch. Repeat 3 times going down to the point of the tail, then 3 more times going up one the other side.
Check pictures for examples.
Sew the body to the head, and sew the head frills onto the sides of the head with 3 on each side. Sew the legs on the body above the tail.
Optional- Add blush under the eyes.
