Google Tools for Educators is an graduate-level course, offered through Eduspire, that I facilitate for professional staff in the surrounding area. Teachers from Chambersburg, Tuscarora and Waynesboro school districts have participated in these courses. I am responsible for managing the online portions of the course requirements with those who take the class.
I also hold between four and six face-to-face sessions with participants so that more in-depth teaching and learning can take place during the course. Face-to-face sessions consist of direct instruction about technology and pedagogy, and also provide time for teachers to work independently with me as they develop course projects and materials they will use in their own classrooms.
Below are links to the course syllabus that I and three other teachers developed during the summer of 2016, and feedback received after the completion of the October 2016 course.
