a curse

a curse
may you live two lives
may you be irreconciled
may you be wild on the inside
only
may you hide your light to be polite
may you pull the plug on the rioting rising tide
may the heavensent fight in you be spent
in petty spite and tidying
may you be beguiled in time by the idea of a quiet life
may you seek a weak anæmic sort of peace
on some
delightful island
may you find it
