About Me:
Erik Toman is a seasoned educator with nearly two decades in teaching and school administration. He currently is a math instructional coach and teacher in Aurora, IL. He has two sons who will attend Barnsdale Road School and Forest Road School in the fall of 2025. Erik and his wife have lived in La Grange Park since 2015 and were initially attracted to this community because of the public school system.
He has been an involved community member through many activities including coaching soccer and baseball for his sons, being a member of the D102 Parent Teacher Advisory Council and moderating his church council. Through his administration and council experience, he has a strong understanding of board processes. Erik has a keen investment in improving student growth and experience. He has always attended and worked in the public school system and truly believes how valuable and strong it can be. He also knows it is critical to diversify home school representation on the D102 School Board.
Erik grew up in Chicago, graduated from both Northeastern University and National Louis University. He is an avid runner, loves a great puzzle and is a garden enthusiast. He would be honored to serve this community on the D102 School Board.
