Erik Ortiz-Covarrubias

Welcome!

I am a PhD Candidate at Cemfi. Giulia Buccione is my doctoral supervisor, with Dean Yang on my thesis committee.  

I previously completed my B.A. at Tecnológico de Monterrey and my M.Sc. at the University of Bonn.

My research interests are in Political Economy, Cultural Economics, Economic History,  and Development Economics. I am currently working on projects that investigate the relationship between cultural identity and electoral behavior.
