Erika Povea

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Economics at Uppsala University, affiliated with the WASP-HS Research Cluster on AI, Structural Change, and the Future of Work.

In 2026, I completed my PhD at FAIR at NHH Norwegian School of Economics.

My research interests lie in labour economics, with a particular focus on human capital and social mobility. I use quasi-experimental methods and administrative data to study these questions across a range of developed and developing contexts.
