After Robert Mitchum got fed up with repeated re-takes in which director Otto Preminger ordered him to slap Jean Simmons across the face, he turned around and slapped Preminger, asking whether it was this way he wanted it. Preminger immediately demanded of producer Howard Hughes that Mitchum be replaced. Hughes refused.
Angel Face appeared as a Fight Club regular and became of the first to become part of Project Mayhem being the third to pass the initiation test. He became Tyler's second in command after he succeeded in many tasks of terrorism and intimidation. The Narrator became extremely bitter and jealous over Angel Face (not realizing that he himself was Tyler) and so he challenged him to a fight one night in the club and brutally attacked Angel Face leaving him injured to the point of being hospitalized. Upon his return he was hideously disfigured with his pretty boy features now gone and his face swollen up and bruised, he was visibly slightly intimidated by The Narrator/Tyler as well. After Bob's death Angel Face suggested to bury him much to The Narrator's disgust, he then joined in the others in chanting Bob's name in respect for him. He makes no later appearance in the book or movie.
Fight Club 2 reintroduced Angel Face back after ten years, showing him completely disfigured after a decade of attending Fight Club. He fought against The Narrator again before Tyler took over, brutally pounding away at The Narrator and slamming him onto the floor before fingers snap, allowing Tyler to take control. Tyler, in return, pounded at Angel Face before being strangled on the spot while giving a new rule: to never hit Tyler in the face. Angel Face appeared to die in this scene, yet was shown in a later issue to have survived his beating. He kisses The Narrator, and it is revealed that Tyler slept with Angel Face to "gain his allegiance". Under the impression that The Narrator is Tyler , Angel Face helps whenever The Narrator needs it, even carrying the man onto a stage so he can help others.
Robert Mitchum, famed calypso performer, with his unconventionally good looks and his rugged charm, his rich man's Rock Hudson schtick, and his working class presence, steals every scene he's in. In this movie, in The Night of the Hunter (where he faced far more formidable competition), in every film I've seen him in, and, of course, on the calypso stage. He's one of those people that draws the focus in on himself simply by being, like Paul Newman or Harry Belafonte. So on the strength of his presence alone, this film is enjoyable.
Black sugar and charcoal exfoliate and absorb excess oils to leave dull, oily or acne-prone skin feeling fresh and matte. Even oily skin can be sensitive, so we've made this one soft and soothing to calm redness and irritation, too. Its rhassoul mud base deeply cleanses to help prevent breakouts, while vitamin-rich cold pressed organic avocado oil nourishes skin to leave it soft and lightly hydrated. Use all over for perfectly smooth, bright skin. An angel indeed!
Gently massage a quarter sized dollop of Instant Angel onto your face and neck. This cream should be used after cleansing and application of serums and toners. If tolerated, skin can be slightly damp prior to application. If used during the day, always follow with SPF.

BMO is making cheese omelets out of eggs and cheddar with faces on them, then creating sentient sandwiches, which allures Jake from his sleep to the kitchen. Jake wants to eat them, but BMO gives him the condition that he must serve as its steed for the day, as it is eager to go on a real-life role-playing adventure as its cowboy alias, "Angel Face." At first, Jake doesn't want to, but reluctantly agrees for a price of one sandwich per hour. BMO gets into some cowboy boots and a ten gallon hat, while Jake takes the form of a horse, to which BMO says that he isn't even trying to mimic a horse.
Sweaty homoeroticism aside, what our narrator is really jealous of is that fact that Angel Face knows the ultimate plan of Project Mayhem and our narrator doesn't. He's being kept in the dark by the Tyler side of his personality, and, since Tyler has brought out our narrator's latent aggression, the only way he knows how to handle it is to beat the snot, blood, and teeth out of poor Angel Face, turning his face into meat loaf (but not Meat Loaf) in the process. "I felt like destroying something beautiful," our narrator says to explain his brutality.
