Eric Kubischta

I earned a B.S. in mathematics and electrical engineering from North Dakota State University in 2016, followed by an M.S. in electrical engineering with a focus on classical information theory in 2018. 

I completed my Ph.D. in applied mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2025. My dissertation is entitled Quantum Codes from Symmetry. 

I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. I am affiliated with the FSU Quantum Initiative.
