End of Time

This is the first project that I have worked on that I was commissioned to make. After the success of As the Romans Do that I did for the Buffalo Chips, the business manager for S#arp Attitude at the University of Massachusetts Amherst reached out to me. After some back and forth conversation, we decided on a video very similar to Romans but highlighting their group history instead, which makes sense. This video was to be filmed in "Zoom Square" fashion with intercut sections of memories. While I had a little bit of input as to what would help me the most, the majority of the production for the project was out of my hands.

When I received the videos from all the members as well as the audio mix, only then did I realize how big of a project this was going to be for me. From this, a lot of planning went into each person's representation within the video. Not knowing the group first-hand and only communicating with them through business transaction never gave me the perfect scope of that sisterly love that I knew they were going for. The hardest part for me was choosing the moments and the timings that convey those emotions well. As well, since everyone used their phones to record and every generation of phone has slightly different aspect rations and recording settings, trying to get everyone's videos to match proved difficult, especially when trying to fit 26 people onscreen at once. 

After sending multiple drafts and "final" videos to them, we decided on one that we were both proud of. This was then premiered on their YouTube page as a celebration for the 10 year anniversary of the founding of their group.
