Hi! I'm Eric (he/him), a Lecturer-in-Discipline in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University.
I earned my PhD in Industrial Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2025 where I was advised by Dr. Laura Albert and Dr. Justin Boutilier. My research is at the intersection of optimal resource allocation, personalization, and data science. I am specifically interested in innovations in healthcare and public sector systems.
As an educator, my mission is to equip and empower students of diverse backgrounds for careers aligned with their interests and goals. My teaching philosophy is to train students to be problem solvers, enable holistic growth, and foster enthusiasm through real-world scenarios.
