Primary School in Brochów is situated in the small village in the centre of Poland, 60 km from the capital city - Warsaw. Brochow is located in the buffer zone of the Kampinoski National Park and close to two rivers: Bzura and Vistula. This is a rural area, however many inhabitants work in the nearby towns and cities.

Our place is famous for its 16th century church, where the famous composer Frederic Chopin was baptized. The village where he was born is 8 km from Brochow. Another tourist attraction in our commune is the unique narrow-gauge railway running from the nearest town Sochaczew to Kampinoski National Park, but also places of national memory connected with the Battle near Bzura river during Second World War.

The school consists of approximately 220 pupils and 30 teachers. There is a kindergarten at school with children at the age of 3 to 5; early school education with 3 classes with pupils at the age of 6-9 and 4-8 year classes with 168 students at the age of 10-15.

At school functions also scouts and voluntary club. Thanks to students’ voluntary work we help many children from Africa, Poland and our school, depending on the needs. Due to this fact all our pupils are able to join school trips organized by the teachers.

The school is well equipped with multimedia technology. Almost each classroom has an interactive whiteboard with Wi-Fi or projector and screen. All teachers, according to the new curriculum use ICT during lessons.

Our school cooperates with other schools, students’ parents and different organizations to promote the pupils’ and teachers’ work in the local community and in the country. We were twice visited by the choir Izumi from Japan. We also worked with AIESEC - an international student organization . As a part of the project "Kid Speak", we hosted students from many distant countries, who brought us closer to their culture, customs and language. It was a great chance to show our students cultural diversity and to practice English language.

Starting from 2014 we are also involved in eTwinning projects. We have received the National and European Quality Label for the eTwinning projects in 2015 and 2017.
