At ESHS, we strive to understand who our students are: what drives them, what are their aspirations, what passions do they possess, what skills do they have and value (that may not often be valued in a school setting). We aim to know their strengths, their struggles, and their needs to ensure that we serve the whole person - past, present and into the future. We promote resilience and persistence to overcome the many obstacles and challenges that will likely appear in their way. When our students fail, they recognize their gaps, they seek help from their community, they problem solve, and they persevere. At ESHS, we strive every day to equip our students with necessary skills and values to become lifelong resilient lifelong learners, to become future leaders within our community, and to achieve their college and career dreams.

En ESHS, nos esforzamos por comprender quiénes son nuestros estudiantes: qué los impulsa, cuáles son sus aspiraciones, qué pasiones poseen, qué habilidades tienen y valoran (que a menudo no se valoran en un entorno escolar).
