So I have a quite high-end/powerful device to emulate on. A lenovo tab p11 plus, to specify. I wonder, which emulator of the two would be a better choice to play these PS1 games? I want my games to run better and smoother, look HD and graphically improved and clear, sound the way they meant to be, etc. You get the idea.

I usually get my roms from coolrom.com and extract the games into a separate folder on my phone. When I "switch discs" in the shrine using the ePSXe emulator and then switch back to the MR2 "disc", the shrine lady always tell me that I'm not an authorized IMa Trainer and calls the monster "rare" even though it's just a Hare for example. Any help?

How the hell can I limit the frame rate on android, like 2fps. I swear I searched everywere, the only thing I found is for the emulator on the pc and in the setting there is no option for fps, I really need to slow down the game, help

I'm using ePSXe (latest version) on my Samsung Galaxy tab S android tablet, alongside the latest version of Sixaxis Controller, to play ps1 games with a official PS3 controller. Everything works fine, except I can't seem to map the toggle frame limit (a.k.a "fast forward") to any of my ps3 controller buttons.

In the preferences section of ePSXe I go to "Map extra functions" -> "Map hw buttons" (under Input preferences) -> "ToggleFrameLimit" and press the button I want to map the function to. Except nothing actually happens in game. I have to instead toggle the frame limit function by opening the emulator options menu on the actual tablet if I want to speed things up. Which is cumbersome when you do it often.

ePSXe for Android is a Playstation emulator (PSX and PSOne). It is a port of the famous PC version of ePSXe, for Android and Android Tv. ePSXe provides very high compatibility (>99%), good speed, and accurate sound. It is designed for smartphones and tablets,(for 1-4 players) including a fun 2 players option with split screen mode. It includes virtual touchscreen pad support, hardware buttons mapping (Xperia Play, phones with keyboard or gamepad, external gamepads bluetooth or USB such as WiiMote, Sixaxis, Xbox 360, Moga, Ipega) and analog sticks.

ePSXe also has a Widescreen mode where the emulator renders stuff outside the usual 4:3 box - which works surprisingly well in Tekken 3 (with the exception of some pop in) - and is unusable in Chrono Cross - because it stretches the geometry where objects are put on screen - while redrawing the backgrounds in a widescreen resolution - which causes objects being misaligned , frequent pathing issues - and so on.

So gamers F1RECHARGE is back with another post & today I gonna tell how to use / add cheats in EPSXE emulator games or in simple language how to use cheats in PS1 games in android. I am using resident evil 1 game as an example.

ePSXe (enhanced PSX emulator) is a PlayStation video game console emulator for x86-based PC hardware with Microsoft Windows and Linux, as well as devices running Android. It was written by three authors, using the aliases calb, _Demo_ and Galtor. ePSXe is closed source with the exception of the application programming interface (API) for its plug-ins.

For half a year, ePSXe was developed in private, with part of this initial development being carried out by _Demo_, previously known for his work on the Super Nintendo emulator ZSNES.[4] When released on October 14, 2000, ePSXe was a revolution in the PlayStation emulation scene, boasting higher compatibility and performance than other emulators of the system at the time.[5]

After ePSXe 1.6.0 was released on August 5, 2003,[6] its development seemed to halt, with speculation that the source code had been lost due to a hard disk failure. However, on April 5, 2008, the developers of ePSXe made a public statement revealing that in the summer of 2007, they had decided to continue development of the emulator, due to encouragement from users. On May 24, 2008, ePSXe version 1.7.0 was released.[7]

ePSXe was one of the early emulators to make use of plug-ins to emulate GPU, SPU (sound), and CD-ROM drive functions, a model first established in PSEmu Pro. Games can be loaded from the computer's CD drive or from one of many types of CD images directly from the user's hard drive.

Until version 1.9.25, ePSXe could only function with an image of an official Sony PlayStation BIOS. Since the various PlayStation BIOS images are copyrighted by Sony, it is illegal to distribute them. For this reason, ePSXe does not come bundled with any of the PlayStation BIOS images, requiring the user to provide one for the emulator.[11] Version 1.9.25 added HLE BIOS support, allowing it to mimic the effect of the PlayStation's BIOS, although compatibility is currently lower than an official BIOS.[10]

Emulators are programs which replicate the software and hardware of another system. Typically, emulators are made by third parties to allow console games to run on PC and mobile hardware. In other words, ePSXe lets you run Playstation games on your computer. This is a tricky area legally so players do so at their own risk. There is also a technical aspect, emulation is not perfect and while ePSXe is considered one of the best out there, it isn?t easy to use. The interface is a bit clunky and confusing and games may not run at all, depending on a huge variety of technical settings. Guides are available on their forums. ff782bc1db
