EPS School Parent App ("the App") is developed to help parents securely access school-related information and services. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled responsibly.
The App may collect and process the following information:
Parent login credentials (User ID and Password)
Parent and student profile information
Student attendance and academic records
Fee payment information and transaction status
Device location (when required for specific features)
Photos and files selected by the user
Push notification token for sending school notifications
Device information required for app functionality and security
The collected information is used to:
Authenticate users and provide secure access.
Display student academic and attendance information.
Process school fee payments through supported payment gateways.
Send important school announcements and notifications.
Allow users to upload documents or images where required.
Improve app performance, security, and user experience.
Provide customer support and maintain the application.
The App may request the following permissions:
Location: Used only for location-based features, where applicable.
Camera: To capture photos or documents when required.
Photos and Storage: To select and upload images or files.
Notifications: To receive important school announcements and alerts.
Biometric Authentication: Optional fingerprint or face authentication for secure login.
Permissions are requested only when needed and can be managed through your device settings.
The App supports secure online fee payments through trusted third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay, Stripe, Flutterwave, PayU, Cashfree, and PayPal.
Payment information is processed securely by the respective payment provider. The App does not store your complete debit card, credit card, or banking credentials.
The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send school notices, announcements, reminders, and important updates. A device notification token may be stored to deliver notifications.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Information may be shared only:
With the school's authorized ERP system to provide requested services.
With trusted payment gateway providers for processing fee payments.
When required by applicable laws or legal authorities.
User information is transmitted using secure encrypted connections (HTTPS). Login credentials are stored securely on the device where applicable using encrypted storage. Appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect your information.
Information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide school services or comply with legal and administrative requirements.
Although this App provides access to student information, it is intended for use by parents or legal guardians. The App is not designed for direct use by children without parental supervision.
Subject to applicable laws, you may request to:
Access your personal information.
Correct inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your data through your school administrator where applicable.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will become effective upon posting the updated version with a revised Effective Date.
