I have also used EPOS2 with USB with labview. I thing the problem you might have is that your driver for EPOS2 may not be correctly installed. Or you may not have configured your motor with EPOS2 studio.

I am trying to develop a custom usb driver for using EPOS with a USB port on my SBRIO (quite a challenging one) and so far it is getting detected but not proceeding further. Please help if you can and hope this helps you. Have a nice day.

@stex2005@Rejin , What do you have reached for that?I'm making an Articulated Robot that will be used in industry, it has delta drivers that can communicate through EtherCAT protocol. I want to control it using ROS. I have found a lot of ways that made me confused such as SOEM package, Hardware_ethercat package, and connecting EtherCAT master devices What should I do? And what are the hardware components that I will need to buy? what I have are a PC with ROS installed (or a Jetson controller), industrial drivers with EtherCAT protocol, and motors

Interfacing SOEM with ROS is possible, as it is only C++. So this all depends on your implementation. The hardest part will most probably be to set up/implement your driver correctly. But afair there are non already available. You'd have to implement this yourself.

DROP shipped us out their new EPOS PC38X Gaming Headset, the successor to their PC37X, advertised as having comparatively improved comfort, build quality and sonic performance. The PC38X uses the same drivers as the Sennheiser GSP 500 and 600 headsets, with a bit of a twist.

The drivers are installed on an angle which is touted to offer more accurate stereo positioning to give you a better idea where threats are coming from while you are gaming. The open backs of the ear cups are also said to improve positional accuracy, not to mention keeping your ears at a comfortable temperature during long gaming sessions.

The performance should be similar to the EPOS GSP 602 which Sebastian has reviewed, or the Sennheiser GSP 600 which Chris reviewed quite a few years back. On the other hand, those two headsets both featured closed backs and lacked the angled drivers, so there should be some unique qualities to the DROP + EPOS PC38X.

For gaming it was plugged into my Sound BlasterX G5, which I talked briefly about way back in Podcast #405, to make sure that the angled drivers of the PC38X were getting a signal that would provide a best case scenario.

As for the angled drivers, it is hard to say if they offer a superior experience to normally mounted drivers. One thing I can say for sure is that they definitely are not worse, and in fast paced shooters they will not let you down when you are trying to figure out where a noise came from. In more sedate and stealthy games, the tuning of drivers does help emphasize the noises made by enemies and NPCs moving over the environmental noises which is worth the price of admission.

What is the USB vendor class you want to implement? Is it a standard class defined by USB-IF? The Linux kernel implements most (if not all) standard classes under folder drivers/usb/gadget/. If there doesn't have the gadget function you need, you can implement your own gadget driver there.

To set up OLE for Point of Sale (OPOS) drivers for an Epson printer in Store Operations, follow these steps:

Before you can download the Epson OPOS drivers, Epson requires that you register with their "EpsonExpert Strategic Developer" Program. This is a free program that is designed exclusively for North American users. This program gives you a single source of information about Epson OPOS products and services.

During the installation, accept all the defaults except when you are prompted to choose Epson CO or Common Control Object (CCO). In this case, choose Common Control Object (CCO).

Note If you accept all the defaults, make sure that you remove the OPOS drivers, and then reinstall them. This action is required by Store Operations, not by the Epson drivers. For information about how to remove Windows applications, search Windows Online Help.

Click Check Health Interactive. You will receive a test receipt if the printer drivers are configured correctly. The printer drivers must pass this test successfully to work in Store Operations. Click Finish to complete the OPOS installation for the printer.

Note If the Check Health Interactive test fails with any error, contact Epson for technical support. Microsoft Business Solutions cannot support the setup of hardware OPOS drivers. To contact Epson support, call (562) 276-1314.

Note If the Check Health Interactive test fails with any error, contact Epson for technical support. Microsoft Dynamics Retail Support cannot support the setup of hardware OPOS drivers. To contact Epson support, call (562) 276-1314.

Note There are some cases in which a printer and cash drawer test successfully in the Epson Setup program but do not work in Store Operations. In these cases, use the Windows Add/Remove application in Control Panel to remove the 2.50e drivers, and then download and install an earlier version of the Epson OPOS drivers. To obtain previous Epson OPOS drivers, visit the following Epson Web site:

Overall, I found the EPOS Gaming Suite software to be very easy and simple to use. Everything you need is very easy to find, and the user interface is intuitive even for a person who has no prior EQ knowledge. Lovely work here EPOS | Sennheiser, but I will get into some of the driver issues later on in the review.

Now, I left most of the really big downsides here for one reason, and that is because I believe they are temporary. The reason I believe that is because they are driver issues. Unfortunately, the programmable button located on the unit doesn't actually swap audio modes even when displayed in the EPOS Gaming Suite Software. The mode has to be manually clicked for it to swap. Notably, the actual EPOS Gaming Suite software doesn't show up on the taskbar at the bottom of Windows, and can only be found in the hidden icons tray.

Additionally, the side-tone slider in the software doesn't work, at least on my unit. These issues certainly impact the overall performance of the GSX 300, but I believe that in the future, driver updates will be issued to the software that will remove them - or at least, I hope so.

If you are looking for a significant boost to your gaming audio experience, but don't want to upgrade your headset, then the GSX 300 could be a really good pick up for you. This will especially be the case if you are looking for some really convenient functionality on your desk. However, there are several driver issues I mentioned previously that severely impact the functionality of the unit, but I do stress that these issues exist at the time of writing this review, and that may not necessarily be the case in the future.

EPOS | SENNHEISER has released a really great external sound card that certainly brings a boost to your gaming audio experience in games at a great price. It, unfortunately, comes with some driver issues that take away from this performance enhancement. However, these issues can be solved with driver updates.

A well designed EPoS system will also enable you to integrate the EPoS solution with your own requirements. For example we have a customer who required us to integrate with their incumbent voucher solution so that vouchers could be purchased online or instore, and then redeemed online or instore with real time data flow so that the balances were always in sync. Another recently required real time integration with their GPS driver management solution.

What it does: HB 259 prohibits named driver policies. A named driver policy is an auto policy that does not cover household members that are not listed on the policy. This is different than most auto policies, which cover residents of the household even if they are not listed on the policy (unless other exclusions apply). 006ab0faaa
