This Privacy Policy explains how Epix Play ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application.
Epix Play helps you discover movies and TV series, view details, watch trailers, and save favorites on your device.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Epix Play does not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or payment information.
Favorites: movies or series you save (title, IDs, and metadata from our content provider).
Cached images: posters and backdrops may be stored temporarily to improve performance.
Network status: to check whether your device is online before loading content.
Device and app data: device type, OS version, app version, and language.
Advertising ID: used by ad partners to deliver and measure ads, where allowed by your settings.
IP address: may be processed by third-party APIs, ad networks, or video providers at the network level. We do not collect precise GPS location.
Favorites and cache stay on your device only. They are removed when you uninstall the App or clear its storage.
Display movie and TV information, images, cast, and trailers.
Save and show your favorites on your device.
Keep the App working and responsive.
Show advertisements through our ad mediation platform.
Comply with legal obligations.
Epix Play relies on third-party providers. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies:
TMDB data and images are used under TMDB terms. Epix Play is not endorsed or approved by TMDB.
Epix Play is supported by ads. Partners may use device identifiers and similar technologies to show personalized or non-personalized ads and measure performance.
On Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization. Opting out does not remove ads entirely.
Internet — load movie data, images, trailers, and ads.
Network state — detect connectivity.
Advertising ID — ad delivery and measurement.
Epix Play does not access your contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, calendar, or precise location.
We do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared only with the providers listed above, when required by law, or to protect users.
Local favorites and cache remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. Third parties retain data under their own policies.
Epix Play is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing, or lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
To delete local data, clear the App storage from device settings or uninstall the App. For ad choices, use your device settings as described above.
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed through the App. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
