Episcopal Collegiate Upcyclers
The Fine Arts at Episcopal Collegiate School
The arts offer a universal language, encompassing all forms of communication that enable students to express a variety of viewpoints and ideas through the visual arts, music, theatre and broadcast journalism. Arts education helps students develop the ability to think clearly, critically and creatively. The visual and performing arts are considered essential components in the education of students at Episcopal Collegiate and the successful fulfillment of its mission.
Beanies and Scrunchies!
In January students learned to make beanies from our fleece jackets and scrunchies from our uniform bottoms. Extra beanies will be donated to a shelter to help keep people warm during the cold season.
Episca-pets!
In February Episcopal Upcyclers meet to celebrate our Episca-pets! We made dog chew toys from upcycled tee shirts and dog bandanas from upcycled uniform skirts. Students Campbell Manzella and Jillian Berry had a goal to make 30 dog toys to donate to the human society and we made 62!
