Rose was raised by her mother Jackie. Her father had passed in a car accident when she was a baby, so she doesn't know him, other than what she was told of him by her mother. Despite being raised by just her mother, she was raised loved and well cared for. Even so, she had her troublesome streak, rebelling when he was a teen and nearly getting expelled. Rose passes her A levels however and excels in her gymnast abilities, something of which she finds she hasn't forgotten later on. After school, she goes to work at a local store.
It's at this store that she meets the Doctor, the man who blows the place up in favor of saving everyone. She meets the man later on again too and eventually she ends up traveling with the time lord. They travel all over time and space in the Doctor's time machine. She helps him save many worlds and species and people. She even experiences him regenerating, which is something of a shock but she adapts in order to help him.
The two are close, closer than close. And when the war arrives on earth with the daleks and cybermen, they are split apart by worlds. She meets her father in a parallel world and alongside her mother and ex-boyfriend Mickey, they live there. She tries to go back to her home world, but isn't very successful.
However the walls are closing in and Rose is able to invent a transportation device of her own. She travels back to her earth, much to the dismay of the Doctor who fears for the balance between worlds. Even so, she helps save humanity one more time and the Doctor sends her back home. Rose is heartbroken, but she won't give up. In fact, it's this determination that helps her find her own power within her. Years ago, when she'd taken in the force of the TARDIS in order to save the Doctor, that power hadn't faded completely. It made her the BADWOLF, a being of her own. Part TARDIS, part human, part time lord. Rose is an anomoly who can travel between worlds. And so, she helps where she can. Oftentimes avoiding the Doctor, but she does look forward to the day that she can meet him again so that she is stronger than he ever expected her to be.
