The EPAS [European Parliament Ambassador School Programme] is an educational program that help students learn about the European Union, the European Parliament, democracy, and active citizenship.
Our school participates in the EPAS program and works on projects, activities, and presentatios about Europe and its values
Increase awareness of European democracy: Help students understand the role of the European Parliament and core European values such as human rights, freedom, equality, democracy, rule of law, solidarity, and tolerance.
Encourage active participation: Motivate students to take part in democratic processes and become responsible European citizens.
Provide educational activities: Organise lessons, school and community events, debates, info-points about the EU, cultural events, and discussions on civic engagement and European citizenship.
Develop skills: Foster leadership, teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and cross-cultural awareness among students.
Create a network of schools: Connect schools across Europe to share best practices, collaborate on projects, and promote European awareness and unity among young people
Through the EPAS programme, students and teachers gain a deeper understanding of the European Union, the role of the European Parliament, and their rights as European citizens. The programme helps students develop important skills such as communication, leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, and event organisation. It also offers opportunities to participate in school activities, debates, European-themed events, and sometimes even international projects. By completing the programme, the school can become an official Ambassador School, while students and teachers receive recognised certificates for their participation. Overall, EPAS encourages active citizenship and helps create a more informed, engaged, and democratic school community.
Our school proudly participates in the European Parliament Ambassador School (EPAS) programme. We have both Senior Ambassadors (teachers) and Junior Ambassadors (students) who lead and organise activities to learn about the European Union, its values, and the role of the European Parliament.
Through EPAS, our school organises educational lessons, debates, and events that promote active citizenship and awareness of European democracy. Students have the opportunity to take part in discussions, school projects, and community activities, gaining valuable skills in leadership, teamwork, and communication.
By participating in EPAS, our school strengthens its connection with other European schools, sharing experiences and ideas, and helping our students become more informed and engaged European citizens.
