I am currently a Postdoc at HKUST working with Prof. Hui Su. I am interested in combining remote sensing and deep learning to investigate various earth system problems. I am currently working on an AI-based data fusion method to improve ocean surface wind data. My previous work mainly focus on glacier terminus variation, glacier dynamics, remote sensing, and deep learning. I build a fully-automated pipeline based on deep learning to extract glacier termini from hundreds and thousands of remote sensing images. Before starting at HKUST, I was a postdoc at UT Austin working with Prof. Ginny Catania. I received a PhD in Earth System Science at the Chinese University of Hong Kong working with Prof. Lin Liu, visited Prof. Anders Anker Bjørk at the University of Copenhagen, and got a BS in geophysics from The University of Science and Technology of China.
