Deep ecology is the belief that our environmental problems are rooted in our worlds anthropocentric values, and the only way to solve them is to alter our ideological beliefs that centers on the human race.
If we were to enact deep ecology beliefs into our societies what would that look like? Deep ecologists would likely consider human population control the control would be done without bringing harm to humans. Another way we can see this is if people were to change their beliefs to thinking that human and non-human life’s were equal. A final example of deep ecology could be, forbidding human interference with the environment.
