A thin client is a lightweight computer that has been optimized for establishing a remote connection with a server-based computing environment. The server does most of the work, which can include launching software programs, crunching numbers, and storing data.
I am having an issue with thinclients and time zone redirection. The clients that should be set to saskatchewan central time currently an hour ahead. I don't have this issue when someone simply uses remote desktop to access our terminal servers.

I actuallly just got a call from on of my users regarding this. Currently the hp thinclient that we have is the correct time while the thinclients that are controlled by the 2x thinclient server are an hour ahead.
Have you tried talking to the vendors? That's assuming you have support. Also try your thin client vendor. They will want to sell you more TC's so they will provide support even if you don't have a contract.
Yes saskatchewan doesn't use DST and it seems that the thinclients want to use DST in a few different ways depending on the vendor. The centrally controlled thinclients are all an hour ahead. Currently installing the updates has not made a difference. 006ab0faaa
