Iftikhar Ali, PhD candidate (thesis defended) at the University of the West of England's Centre for Print Research (CFPR), thrives on textile-based energy solutions for wearable electronic textiles. His research focuses on the application of graphene and other 2D materials in the development of textile-based wearable energy harvesters such as tribo/piezoelectric nanogenerators. Prior to these, he has hands-on experience with nanofabrication technologies and a strong interest in researching nanoelectronics such as memristors and sensors.
