Structure:

• Introduction

  • Hook + context + thesis statement

    • Hook: a catchy phrase, shocking data or questions that will grab the reader's attention and encourage them to continue reading.

    • Context: a brief explanation of what topic you are about to develop. What the reader needs to know before you express your opinion and your arguments.

    • Thesis statement: Argument + point 1 + point 2

• Body paragraph 1

  • Point 1: P.E.A structure

• Body paragraph 2

  • Point 2: P.E.A structure

• Body paragraph 3

  • Point 3: it could be another point of a counterargument. If a counterargument is presented it must be proved wrong.

• Conclusion

  • Sum up your ideas and restate your thesis statement.

  • Do NOT add another point or information that was not developed previously.
