Collin Young, English 1101 Portfolio

Hello, I'm Collin Young and this is the portfolio of my projects for English 1102 with Prof. McGinnis.

Personal Description

As for myself, I'm 18 years old and attend Glynn Academy, and I'm an avid photographer and filmmaker. Most of the banner images on this website are my own that I've personally taken. I'm attending the University of Georgia next year to earn a degree in Entertainment and Media Studies, with a minor in Journalism, so I can hopefully go into a directorial field or cinematography. You can find my personal portfolio here. Outside of visual art, I'm interested in exercising and driving, as well as world affairs/geopolitics. I hope to one day cover large conflicts overseas.

Website Overview

In the sidebar on the left hand side of this website you can find the different pages of my portfolio, each correspoding to a different project. Project One was mostly an introduction to course content and writing essays/ establishing our portfolios. The subsequent projects are more in-depth, like Project Three, in which my Service Learning group created a powerpoint for the leaders of the Brunswick African American Cultural Center to present to the Brunswick City Council. I hope you enjoy looking through my portfolio!
