Who we are
English Outreach is an English language church community that meets at the Bergkirche in Wiesbaden, Germany. We are a ministry of the Evangelische Kirche in Hessen und Nassau and the United Church of Christ. We are an open and affirming congregation that celebrates people of all walks of life. At the English Outreach you will find welcoming fellowship, stimulating sermons, engaging discussion, faith formation, social opportunities, and moving music.
What we do
Worship
We worship at 10AM on the first Sunday of every month in the sanctuary of the Bergkirche. The service is livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person.
Bible Study
We meet for Bible Study on the first and third Sunday of the month at 11AM in the church office, which is across the parking lot from the Bergkirche sanctuary. Topics or texts are announced in advance through our mailing list, but advanced preparation is not required.
Choir
Our English language choir generally meets once a month for rehearsal on a Thursday at 8PM and sings in worship about 3-4 times a year.
