About Me
For over a decade, I’ve been in the classroom - teaching, learning, and growing alongside my students. My years in MOE schools, including time spent marking the PSLE, opened my eyes to what truly helps students succeed: not just mastering exam techniques, but understanding how they think, feel, and learn.
That curiosity led me to pursue a Master’s in Educational Psychology, where I discovered how motivation and mindset shape every child’s learning journey. It deepened my belief that confidence often comes before competence and that the right encouragement can transform even the most reluctant learner.
Today, I blend that experience with personalised strategies that make English come alive. Each lesson is designed to engage both the mind and heart — to help students see beyond the marks, and discover the joy and power of language.
My goal is simple: to equip students with the confidence, curiosity, and resilience to thrive - not just in exams, but in life.

Each lesson is carefully structured for maximum learning. Start by completing the downloaded worksheets, join a fun and interactive Zoom session, participate in discussions and activities, and finish with feedback and practice tasks to consolidate understanding.

Component-Based Masterclasses
Is your child new to Primary 5, or are they a Primary 6 student needing targeted help with Paper 2? Does your child struggle to score in specific sections of Paper 2? The masterclasses drill down on the high-yield components of the English Paper Booklet B that make the biggest difference to the final grade.
About the Masterclasses
When: Held on the first Saturday every month
Choose the session(s) your child needs most, or attend both for a comprehensive Paper 2 revision.
Session 1: Synthesis and Transformation and Comprehension Cloze
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
This 90-minute session will teach rules for Synthesis and Transformation and avoid common mistakes. We will also focus on types of questions for Comprehension Cloze and identify contextual clues and word pairings (collocations) to achieve high accuracy in this section.
Session 2: Comprehension Open-Ended (OE), Grammar Cloze and Editing
Time: 10:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
This session focuses on critical reading skills for OE, training students to identify keywords, infer meaning, and structure concise, full-mark answers. Additionally, we go through grammar rules for the Grammar Cloze and common spelling errors for the Editing section.
