Privacy Policy for ENEI, portable precise engine for professional color control and analysis

1. Introduction This Privacy Policy explains how Desvision collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our mobile application ENEI (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy.

2. Information We Collect and Permissions To function correctly, our App requires access to specific features of your device. We do not store this data on external servers unless explicitly stated.

• Microphone (Record Audio)

  • Purpose: The App uses the microphone strictly for voice commands within the interface (e.g., to trigger measurements or navigate hands-free).

  • Data Handling: Audio data is processed locally or via standard operating system speech-to-text services. We do not record, store, or upload your conversations to any external servers for analytics or marketing.

• Camera

  • Purpose: The App requires access to your device's camera to capture images of physical color standards, printed proofs, and calibration targets. This functionality is essential for the "Photo Proof" feature, allowing the App to perform optical color analysis and generate color profiles directly from your environment.

  • Data Handling: Images captured via the App are processed locally on your device to extract color values. We do not automatically upload, store, or stream your camera feed to any external servers. You retain full control over any images you choose to save or share.

• Bluetooth & Location (Coarse/Fine Location)

  • Purpose: The App uses Bluetooth to scan for and connect to external color measurement hardware (spectrophotometers and spectrodensitometers, such as X-Rite or comparable devices).

  • Note on Location: On the Android operating system, permission to access "Location" is technically required to use Bluetooth scanning features. We do not use this permission to track your physical GPS location. It is used solely to discover nearby Bluetooth devices.

• Storage (Read/Write External Storage)

  • Purpose: The App requires access to your device's storage to open image files (CMYK/RGB) for processing and to save reports or modified images.

3. Data Usage We use the collected data solely for the internal functionality of the App:

• Connecting to spectrophotometers.

• Processing color data (Lab, CMYK conversion).

• Executing voice commands.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.

4. Third-Party Services The App may use standard Android operating system services (Google Play Services) for core functionality. These service providers have their own privacy policies.

5. Security We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data. Since the App processes data locally on your device (C++ native engine), your sensitive images and spectral data remain under your control.

6. Changes to This Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
