Privacy Policy for Endura
Last updated: 30 August 2026
Endura ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by Hariharan S R, provides the Endura mobile application (com.hari.endura) for running coaching (the "App"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
- Account information: your name and email address, via Google Sign-In.
- Location: precise (GPS) and approximate location. See the Location section below.
- Activity you record in the App: runs, distance, pace, duration, route, elevation, per-kilometre splits, estimated calories, and perceived effort (RPE).
- Health data: with your explicit permission, we read heart rate and step count from Android Health Connect. See the Health Data section below.
- Device information: device type, operating system, and app version.
- Usage data: how you interact with the App (screens viewed, features used).
- Purchase data: subscription status and purchase history, processed through Google Play and RevenueCat. We never receive or store your card or bank details.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- Build and personalise your training plan
- Record and display your running progress, statistics, and achievements
- Show heart rate and cadence for your runs and estimate your weekly training load
- Provide customer support
- Send training reminders and service notifications (if you opt in)
- Diagnose crashes and improve the App
HEALTH DATA (Health Connect)
Endura integrates with Android Health Connect and, with your explicit consent, reads the following health data:
- Heart rate (android.permission.health.READ_HEART_RATE)
- Steps (android.permission.health.READ_STEPS)
This access is read-only; we never write data to Health Connect. Access is granted only after you approve it on the Health Connect consent screen, and you can revoke it at any time in Health Connect settings.
How we use it: heart-rate data is shown on your run summaries (average, peak, and trend) and fills gaps when no Bluetooth heart-rate monitor is connected. Step data is used to estimate your running cadence and to help calibrate your weekly training volume.
Handling and sharing: health data is stored in your private account on our backend (Supabase) so it syncs across your devices. It is not sold, not shared with third parties, and not used for advertising or any form of ad personalisation. It is not sent to our analytics provider. Our use of Health Connect data complies with the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
LOCATION
Endura accesses your device's precise (GPS) and approximate location to provide its core features:
- Recording your route, distance, pace, speed, and elevation during a run
- Showing your position and route on a map
- Providing local weather and heat-aware pace guidance
Location is accessed only while you are actively recording a run, including when the screen is off, using an Android location-typed foreground service with a persistent notification. Endura does not access your location at other times and does not access location in the background when no run is being recorded.
Your route and location data are stored in your private account (Supabase) so your runs sync across your devices. Map tiles are provided by MapTiler, which receives the map area being displayed. Location data is not sold, not shared with third parties for their own purposes, and never used for advertising.
You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings; run tracking will not work without it.
DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
Your data is stored in encrypted cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase. All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
- Google Sign-In — authentication
- Supabase — cloud data storage
- Firebase / Crashlytics — crash reporting
- RevenueCat — subscription management
- PostHog — product/usage analytics (no health data)
- MapTiler — map display (receives the viewed map area)
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and acts as our service provider (processor). We do not permit them to use your data for their own purposes.
DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, runs, health data, location/route history, and training history from our production systems within 30 days; backup copies are purged on our normal backup rotation (within 90 days). We do not retain user data after account deletion except where required by law.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:
- In the App: Settings > Delete Account, or
- By email: send a request to hxrihxrxn14@gmail.com from your account email address.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the App. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
