Endorphin is a dynamic motion synthesis software package developed by NaturalMotion.[1] Endorphin can be used to generate computer simulations of large numbers of independent characters interacting with each other and the world according to brief scripts or 'behaviours'. It combines physics, AI, and genetic algorithms to create realistic animations. Unlike Euphoria, also developed by NaturalMotion, Endorphin is not an engine, but a 3D animation tool for Microsoft Windows.

Speaking of Physics egnines and UE4, i loved the DMM (Digital Molecular Matter) engine used in Force Unleased, the phyics thingy that made assets get bent or destroyed according to the Material that was assigned to it.

So if you applied enough force a Steel door would bend accordingly, and you could just continue bending it if you wanted to.

NaturalMotion endorphin is a powerful application that enables graphic designers to generate professional animated characters and scenes. This program makes it very easy to create all sorts of dynamic motions especially where there are human bodies involved. This application enables you to generate human bodies, special effects, transitions, environments, events, and visualize any change as you are applying them. It is also possible to load/save/import/export all your projects. All these tasks are done with the mouse only, although there are also many shortcut keys. In addition, this program offers you a comprehensive toolbox set for graphic design. This program lets you play your animation movies.

The user interface is very straightforward and easy to manage. You can find many sample videos, including a car crash, military scenes, fights, etc., that give an excellent approach to this program's capabilities. There is also an excellent tutorial. The developer offers a free version of the program that is called endorphin Learning Edition that also acts as a trial version for endorphin.

I am going from Daz to Modo to C4D in the end so I really only need it to go limp. I have Houdini but my computer really hates it. For some reason sometimes Unreal just freezes up my computer or never opens. Which is odd because when I first downloaded it, it opened fine. To the other person dead poses not so good. I want realistic limp-ness but I will poke what you are speaking of to see what you are speaking of. I like natural limp things. Hence when scattering things I use physics engines and such. I could place them if I want to but it does not have the same feel.

Endorphin, the app I use for ragdoll , is no longer available to the public.

I keep an old windows vista compaq tower alive, just to keep the powerful endorphin app in my pipeline as there truly is not A modern day replacement for its feature set IMHO.

In morpheme 2.0, NaturalMotion believes it has solved severalfundamental problems holding back the combined application ofphysics and animation. As a result, morpheme 2.0 allows for theseamless mixing and matching of animation and physics methodswithin and across animation skeletons, thus providing a whole newtoolset for creating lifelike characters.

SANTA CLARA, CA and OXFORD, U.K. - June 11, 2008 NVIDIACorporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in programmablegraphics processor technologies, and NaturalMotion Ltd., thedevelopers behind the highly acclaimed euphoria motion synthesistechnology, today announced that the companies have teamed up tooffer game developers and publishers easy-to-use, highly integratedsolutions for adding animation and physics in next-generationgames.

I remain amazed at the sheep-like quality of so many Americans. I've no idea why the endorphin hit of likes/comments/retweets means so very much to so many...more than interpersonal relationships, more than accumulating knowledge, more than the protection of privacy. I closed my SM accounts long ago. I have zero to 'prove' to FB or Twitter audiences. I have no desire to have an algorithm reduce my personal will. I can follow epidemiologists, public health experts, climatologists, economists, and historians without a Twitter account. FB is radioactive- the fact that most Americans refuse to close their FB accounts, knowing that their data is being weaponized is yet another confirmation that our democracy stands little chance of survival. Confirmation bias exists within every group of humans...the Jeopardy story is filled with absurdity and hypocrisy, but our civil rights are on the line while journalists look for 'new angles' to normalize the erosion of our civilization. The saddest part is that there is no hyperbole in the prior sentence, and it doesn't matter to a desensitized populace.

Again, in a vacuum, none of these group/ecosystem dynamics are “good” or “bad.” They are existing forces, with their own physics. You wouldn’t call gravity de facto ‘bad’ because planes crash. It simply exists. What seems most important, then, is that we become aware we’re surrounded and influenced by these forces — whether we like it or not.

But it is precisely because we won’t log off that we need to be more aware of the physics that govern the spaces where we argue, protest, think, speak, and connect. So many of the challenges posed by the modern, platform-based internet are sprawling and structural — and cannot and should not be fixed by shifting responsibility onto individuals. But there is a power in knowing what audiences you’re a part of, and how those audiences shape you and how you shape those audiences in return. As Gallagher told me, “it’s a big ask, but it seems critical.”

Friedman grew up in the suburbs of New York City. He entered a six-year medical program, earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and, at the age of 22, receiving his medical degree from Albany Medical College of Union University. After completing both a medical and chief residency at Albany Medical Center Hospital, he became a postgraduate fellow and associate physician in the laboratory of Dr. Mary Jeanne Kreek at Rockefeller University. His experiences researching the effects of endorphins in the development of narcotic addiction led to a shift in his career path toward that of a physician scientist. He opted to forego the final steps of his medical training in order to pursue a Ph.D. with James E. Darnell Jr.

These last days and weeks of inaction had been hard on Commander Ziegler. How often had he said that he only felt truly alive in combat? Had I not scented the tang of his endorphins during a tight turn, felt his hands tighten on my yoke as enemy missiles closed in? Yet ever since my refit had begun he had been forced to subsist on a thin diet of simulations.

When listening to your conversation with Chiara Marletto on Constructor Theory, the idea that this methodology could be applied both to particle physics and to higher level emergent behavior reminded me of the scale-free behaviour you had discussed with Nigel Goldenfeld in your previous episode. Do you think there is any possible link here, or am I conflating two completely different ideas?

Hello Sean this is just a suggestion. Would you consider grouping the different questions in different videos for instance one AMA for physics only questions another video for Consciousness related questions another video for social politics

I think that will make much easier for people with different interests 006ab0faaa
