Eventually, you will need to buy all pro skaters, but pick one (I chose Danny Way just because he was first) and work on upgrading him all the way. Once you fully upgrade him/her, I would recommend starting to unlock all of the flips, grabs, and grinds (15,000 credits each). An easy way to remember what tricks you have done is to just do a quick play and immediately perform the trick that you just unlocked.

The big grind is getting enough credits for each Pro. However, once you get them you will be able to pull off the Pro Skaters' special tricks. Eddie Genericson does not have one, so you will in fact need to buy each skater. HOWEVER, you do not need to upgrade all of their stats as the special tricks are available with basic stats. Just find a big jump, crouch, ollie, then pull it off!

In Endless Skater the player is tasked with getting a skateboarder to perform as many tricks as possible on an endless generated level containing ramps, rails, and other obstacles. Trick combinations score extra points.

Our frames are meant for skaters of all skill levels. They immediately provide a more satisfying blading experience, especially for beginners, due to the low ride height, and ease of manueverability. Turning becomes more intuitive.

On the whole, I find games on mobile phones too laden with microtransactions and a little too simple. Skate City started out a very simplistic affair, press X to build up speed and flick the left analogue stick for a handful of flip tricks. It was all rather laid back and very chilled. For someone who plays a lot of skating games and especially with the remaster of Tony Hawk from last year still fresh in my mind, Skate City felt a little flat, at least initially.

It may be helpful to compare the scenario involving the skater with the story of Sisyphus from Greek mythology. In brief, as punishment for various misdeeds against the gods, Sisyphus was condemned to roll a boulder endlessly up a hill, with the boulder having been enchanted to roll back down when Sisyphus nears the top. Philosophers going back at least to the 1st century CE have commented and drawn lessons from this myth. The general takeaway has been that it represents the futility of various seemingly meaningful endeavours. In his 1942 essay, the French philosopher Albert Camus went further, arguing that the myth represents the absurdity of human existence. In 1970, the US philosopher Richard Taylor concluded that any meaning that our activities have is purely subjective, given that, from the perspective of the Universe, what we do is not of any lasting significance. 17dc91bb1f
