ENCODE

European Network in Coding Theory and Applications

LinkedInTwitter

Welcome to ENCODE project.

ENCODE is a doctoral network with a focus on the theory of error correcting codes and applications to security, privacy and efficiency of distributed communication and computation. It will capitalise on the expertise of five academic partners and five companies on the cutting edge of cybersecurity to guide eight doctoral candidates in tackling problems in coding theory and its applications.

The ENCODE doctoral network supports a broad and international training program, where we offer a structured PhD education for eight doctoral candidates at five institutes across Europe. Our candidates benefit from a strong network of advisors as well as fellow students. Doctoral candidates are based at, and get their degree from, one of our partner universities. They spend secondment periods at another partner university, and with one of our industrial partners.

ENCODE is a Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action Doctoral Network, funded by the European Commission and the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation.
