I’m Enam Ahmed Taufik, a PhD student in Computer Science at Kennesaw State University, working under the supervision of Prof. Abdur Rahman Mohd Abul Basher. I am a member of the ai-CELESTE Lab, where my research focuses on Computational Biology, Computer Vision, and AI-driven biomedical research. I previously served as a Lecturer in Computer Science at the European University of Bangladesh and earned my B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from BRAC University with Highest Distinction (CGPA 3.81/4.00).
My current research interests lie at the intersection of Computer Vision, Computational Biology, Biomedical AI, Multimodal Learning, and Explainable AI. My doctoral research focuses particularly on live-cell image processing and analysis, multimodal data integration, and temporal modeling, with the broader goal of developing intelligent, interpretable, and reliable computational methods for biological and biomedical applications.
My research experience includes developing and evaluating deep learning methods for medical image analysis, including histopathology, ultrasound imaging, disease detection, and other biomedical applications. I have authored and co-authored research articles published in peer-reviewed international journals and have also contributed research papers to international conferences, including IEEE conferences. My work explores medical image analysis, multimodal learning, model interpretability, robustness, and trustworthy AI for healthcare.
Alongside my research, I remain strongly committed to teaching and academic mentorship. As a former lecturer, I taught courses including Artificial Intelligence, Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, and Computer Architecture, while supervising undergraduate research projects in computer vision, medical image analysis, and explainable machine learning.
I am also an active reviewer for academic journals and international conferences, contributing to the peer-review process in areas related to artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning, and biomedical applications.
My long-term goal is to contribute to reliable and human-centered AI through interdisciplinary research that connects computer science with biology and healthcare. I aspire to grow as both an impactful researcher and dedicated educator, developing computational solutions that advance scientific discovery and ultimately improve human lives.
