KB5002099 issue

Currently, we are confronted with a bug from a Microsoft update appeared in December..

Symptom :

Cwork doesn't open and an ODBC error message appears:

Awaiting a corrective update from Microsoft, here is the procedure to fix the problem :

  1. Check for KB5002099 or KB5002104 in the Windows interface (setting ->windows update -> update history")

  2. Go to "uninstall updates".

  3. Choose the update with the ID "KB5002099" or "KB5002104"

  4. Click on "Uninstall".

  5. Restart the Computer.

  6. Check the integrity of the DNC.mdb file with Access (it will repair the database automatically).

  7. Start Cwork.


If you have several Cwork stations, check all computers
