Rigelman et al., Portland State University; A three year state funded MSP (2014-2017) aimed to improve mathematics teaching by developing a cadre of preK-12 teacher leaders that consistently use research-based instructional practices in support of student mathematics learning and take leadership in sharing that professional learning. A collaboration among David Douglas School District, Centennial School District, the Multnomah Education Service District, RMC Research, and Portland State University.
Reys, Tarr, & Webel, University of Missouri; A four year NSF Project (2014-18) investigating student mathematics learning outcomes at the elementary level in relation to teacher expertise (elementary teachers with math specialist certification versus generally prepared elementary teachers) and school organization (departmentalized versus self-contained mathematics classrooms).
