The National CBRN Centre has produced the REMOVE, REMOVE, REMOVE message which is designed to provide all emergency service personnel with essential safety and first aid advice in the event of the following:

• Suspected deliberate or accidental exposure to a hazardous substance (vapour, powder or liquid)
• An ‘acid attack’

All UK frontline emergency services personnel should have already been trained in IOR methods for this type of incident and that training still remains valid and will continue to be taught, however, this refreshed IOR messaging is simply designed to make core elements of IOR quicker and easier to absorb, to remember and to apply.
