I received my B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Pamukkale University, Denizli, Türkiye, in 2009, and my M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Niğde, Türkiye, in 2011 and 2016, respectively.
From 2016 to 2021, I served as a faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Niğde, Türkiye. Since 2021, I have been working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Ege University, Izmir, Türkiye. During this period, I spent one year as a visiting scholar at the Power Electronics and Machines Center, University of Nottingham, United Kingdom.
My current research interests include electrical machines and drives, model predictive control, fault-tolerant control, speed-sensorless control, and state and/or parameter estimation of electric machines.

Matlab mühendislikte en çok kullanılan programlar listesinde en üstte olan yazılımlardan biridir sanırım. Çoğu bölümün ders listesinde olmamasına rağmen, mühendis adaylarının öğrenmek zorunda olduğu programlama dillerinden biridir. Bu ne işimize yarayacak diyen arkadaşlar mutlaka olacaktır. Klasör içlerinde arşivlediğim dosyalara tek tek girip aradığım dosyayı bulmak işkence halinde dönmeye başlamıştı ki, Zotero ve Mendeley ile tanıştım. Bu programlar ile tanışmam hem işimi oldukça kolaylaştırdı hem de zamanı daha verimli kullanma fırsatı tanıdı. Elektronik kitapları (pdf ve diğer uzantılı dosyalar) bu programlar sayesinde ad, tarih, yazar vb. şekilde sıralayarak ve alt kütüphaneler oluşturarak zamandan kazanmak çok kolay. Benzer işi yapan farklı yazılımlar da mevcut. Bu yazılımların listesine ve karşılaştırmalarına bu siteden ulaşabilirsiniz.
Zotero ve Mendeley’in her ikisi de çok kullanışlı olmasına rağmen, benim tercihim Zotero. Bu arada, her iki programda farklı işletim sistemlerini de desteklemesi çok güzel. Benim gibi hem Linux hem de Window işletim sistemi kullananlar için biçilmiş kaftan. Bu programlar ile, depolama dışında, Office programlarına olan eklentileri sayesinde kaynaklarınızı hazır bulunan bir formata otomatik olarak sokmak mümkün. En güzel yönünün de bu olduğunu söyleyebilirim.
Aksi halde, kaynak sıralaması ve formata uydurma işi çıldırmak için iyi bir neden.

Webdav desteği sunmaktadır. Bunun için Mendeley'deki gibi bulut depolama satın almanıza gerek yok. Pdf dosyalarınızı buradaki Webdav desteği sunan bulut depolamaları kullanarak depolayabilirsiniz. Böylece nereye giderseniz gidin dökümanlarınız da sizle birlikte gelir.
Hazır biçimlendirilmiş birçok referans biçimine sahiptir. Bunlara buradan göz atıp size en uygun olanı seçebilir, hatta kendi biçiminizi bile oluşturabilirsiniz.
Web tarayıcısı eklentileri ile indirdiğiniz dökümanları doğrudan bilgisayarınıza kaydedip, daha sonra seknronize etmektedir. Mendeley ilk önce kendi sunucusuna kaydedip daha sonra bilgisayarınıza indirdiğinden zaman gecikmesi olmaktadır. Bu da bazen sinir edici olabiliyor.
