The history of 142 Watts dates back to 1886, when the renowned New York architects Pierce & Dockstader built it as a warehouse.
Over the decades, the building has served as a tenement, a hotel, and even a plumber’s shop.

William Green Architecture and Lazar Ventures purchased it in 2018 with the goal of turning it into a grand home. And that it is: With fabulous views of the city skyline and Hudson River, it has a clean, airy aesthetic with white tones, large windows, and high ceilings.
