We examine how children recognize and integrate the variety of affective information they encounter including facial, postural, vocal, and situational cues.

We map the cognitive and perceptual processes underlying children’s acquisition of new emotion knowledge including facial expressions, words, and situational information.

Other's expressions are constantly moving. We investigate how movement impacts the way we look at and recognize expressions and how this changes across childhood.
