about me

I am a PhD student in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Michigan. My research is centered around language and dialect contact and bilingualism, with a focus on Armenian and speakers of Armenian. I am also interested in the ideologies that arise when languages/dialects are in contact, and in how these ideologies influence the outcomes of contact situations.

Beyond linguistics, I love learning and teaching languages. I have experience teaching Russian, Eastern Armenian, and English.
