Dr. Emmanuel Eyiah-Donkor

Assistant Professor of Finance and Programme Director of MSc in Aviation Finance

I am an Assistant Professor of Finance in the College of Business at University College Dublin (UCD) and Programme Director of the MSc in Aviation Finance at the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.  I teach Portfolio and Risk Management and Python for Financial Data Science at the masters level. 

My research interests include asset return predictability, dynamic portfolio choice, empirical asset pricing, financial econometrics and, more recently, financial data science. My research has been published in international finance peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Commodity Markets, and the International Review of Financial Analysis. I have also reviewed articles for several journals including the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Commodity Markets, European Journal of Finance, and the International Journal of Business and Economics.

I hold a PhD in Finance from UCD, an MSc in Financial Mathematics from Uppsala University, and a BSc in Mathematics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Before joining UCD, I was Assistant Professor of Finance at Rennes School of Business, France.
