Emily began her teaching career in 2002 while living in Colorado and has continued that journey ever since. Her and her family left Colorado for Arizona in 2007. When Heritage Academy Laveen opened in 2014, she knew that this was an institution that she wanted to be a part of. With a background in physical education, reading and coaching, Emily enjoys teaching and learning. Her family brings her joy each and everyday and she is thankful for the lessons her children teach her. She enjoys spending time with them, reading and hiking or swimming. Emily is also extremely proud to be a Hero!
